Which platforms does YepTap support?
YepTap currently offers downloaders for X (Twitter) and Instagram. Each tool supports different content. See its dedicated page for supported posts, formats and audio requirements.
Do I need an account or an app?
You do not need to register a YepTap account or install an app to use these browser tools. Private posts, login-only content and other restricted content are not supported.
Will my downloaded video include sound?
The tools preserve audio available in the source file. Instagram downloads require a single MP4 with confirmed audio. Audio that the platform has removed or muted cannot be restored.
Can I choose the video quality?
You can choose from the MP4 formats the original post provides. Available options vary by video. YepTap does not upscale or transcode them.
Why might a video link fail?
A post may be removed or restricted, the platform may temporarily limit access, or the format may not be supported yet. The matching downloader shows a specific message so you can check the original post or try again later.
